(This post is also available in English) Hola, yo me llamo Josefina y soy de la nacionalidad mexicana. Estamos estudiando la alfabetización y llevo cinco meses estudiando. Me siento muy contenta por haber aceptado la invitación para leer y escribir. Estoy aprendiendo a formar sílabas, palabras y enunciados y le doy gracias a los responsables de la enseñanza ya que ellos se han preocupado por apoyar a las personas necesitadas de conocer y aprender a leer; en especial le doy gracias a mi asesora que puntualmente me está apoyando en el aprendizaje de mis materiales. Yo los animo a todos los que no saben leer ni escribir para que se inscriban para que también reciban la educación, ya que la educación es muy bonita; sabiendo leer y escribir, ya de esa manera uno se siente más completo, porque sabe dos cosas que hacer sabiendo leer y escribir.
Es preocupante cuando veo que hay personas que rechazan la enseñanza que ofrece el INEA; pero bueno, así es la vida, somos libres para decidir lo que vamos a hacer. Yo, por ejemplo, salgo con el compromiso de avisarles o invitar a todos para que estudien; yo siempre estoy revisando mis libros que me entregaron. Me comentan que me van a dar otros libros para conocer más y saber comportarme con otras personas que viven en mi comunidad y también los que son de fuera y de esa manera me voy a ir dando cuenta de cosas con las personas más letradas que yo.
Le pedí a mi técnico que se encarga directamente de la educación del Proyecto Náhuatl que siga con su trabajo que desempeña, ya que él apoya mucho a las personas que estudian con la lengua que hablan en las diferentes comunidades del estado de Guerrero. Agradezco por los servicios que me dan para mi progreso en mi vida venidera y perdonen por algunas fallas que cometí en mi escrito, ya que sé que me falla mi redacción, pero sé que mejoraré mi escritura.

Josefina: “I hope that you are in a good mood when you read my words”
Hello, my name is Josefina and I’m Mexican. I have been learning to read and write for five months now. I feel very happy for having accepted the invitation to learn to read and write. I’m learning about forming syllables, words and statements, and I thank those responsible for the teaching because they are concerned about supporting people who need to learn how to read; in particular, I thank my counselor, who is punctually supporting my learning and providing me with learning material. I would encourage everyone who cannot read or write to enroll themselves in schools, because education is beautiful; being able to read and write, this is the way to feel complete, because you’ll know what to do if you can read and write.
It’s worrying when I see people who refuse the teaching provided by INEA; but, well, this is life, we are free to decide what we are going to do. I, for example, am committed to warn them or to invite everyone to study; I always review the books they provided me with. They say they will give me other books so I can learn more and know how to behave with other people who live in my community, and also those from outside, and then I can deal with people who have more knowledge than me.
I have asked the technician in charge of education of the Náhuatl Project to continue with his work, because he supports people who study languages in the various communities of the State of Guerrero. I thank them for the services they provide and the progress of live, and forgive me for some mistakes in my writing, because it’s not so good, but I will improve it.
