Eu estudei 45 dias com a professora Marleis. Aprendi um pouco com ela, pois eu não sabia nem escrever o nome. Eu me interessei de novo, pois me convocaram para estudar. Eu gostei demais. Tô aprendendo aos poucos, mas tô aprendendo… A ler uma cartinha. Já escrevo um pouquinho.
Tinham duas coisas pra gente escolher: roça ou escola. Então, como a situação era difícil, tinha que ir pro ganha pão, que era a roça.
Acho que, para mim, se todo mundo pensar como eu tô pensando seria ótimo, porque a dificuldade que eu tenho todos têm. Então é importante demais, pois oferece conforto a todo aluno que interessa.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION
I studied for 45 days with teacher Marleis. I learned I little bit from her, because I couldn’t even write my name. I’m interested again, because they called me to study. I like it very much. I’m taking baby steps, but I’m learning… I can read a small letter. I can write a little bit.
(…) We had two choices: crop or school. Then, as the situation was difficult, I had to make a living, and that was the crop.
(…) I think that if everybody thinks like me it would be good, because everybody faces the same difficulties I do. Then it is very important, because it provides every student with the required comfort.
